The seventh installment in Astral Buoyancy"s Limited Edition series was co-designed by Astral athlete Pat Keller as a tribute to the pursuit of class V exploratory kayaking. The Astral Boyancy GreenJacket LE7 is a jacket that finds the synergy between style and innovation. Astral Buoyancy cuts loose on the designs found in the LE series, and this one is pretty stellar. The topo map screen printed on over the front clamshell pocket is the heart of the design and gives a bird"s eye view of a place that Keller will only say is a really steep run in the Olympic Peninsula that he"s had his eye on for a long time. The back screen printing represents memories and mountains, and the icon, a red-tailed hawk, has always been an omen and powerful affirmation for Keller on the water. The LE7 offers all the industry-leading specs you"d expect in a PFD, as well. Foam Tectonics allow the outer front panel to move freely with your upper body as the inner panel stays in place, so your movement in white water won"t be hindered. The enhanced Flotection system protects your upper back and ribs just in case, and the reinforced shoulders integrate with chest harness to provide 1,100lb strength. The LE7 has pullover entry and true torso length adjustment; with separate front panels, it makes for a great fit for both men and women. For when things don"t go as planned and bailing and/or a rescue is needed, the LE7 is loaded with features. Astral Buoyancy stitched Quick release rescuers harness is tacked into the vest for ultimate strength and integrity.You can use a Web-Toe stored in a side pocket or cowtail stowed on carabiner park.
